- First Lt. Myron L. Cook, 23, has been reported missing in action since February 4. A navigator with the 14th Army Air Force, he had been expected to return to the United States on leave when he was listed as missing. Lt. Cook, a graduate of Roosevelt High School who attended the Illinois Institute of Technology, had completed 52 combat missions in China. His mother, Mrs. Louise Coook, lives at Bernard street.

- PVT. JOHN D. HOY, 31. formerly at 1319 Granville av., was killed In action in Germany March 16. He is survived by his widow. Clare; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas B. F.ay; a son. Tommy, and a daughter, Sally.
- Staff Sgt. Norman H. Wickman, 24, a tail gunner on a B-17, is a prisoner of the Germans, his mother, Mrs. Minnie Wickman of 1621 Orchard st., has been informed. Sgt. Wickman was a graduate of Lane Technical High School. He had completed more than 15 missions before his capture.
- SGT. HENRY ELAIDA, 27, of 3318 W. 3Slh pi, was killed in action In Germany on Feb. 24. He is survived by two brothers, Michael and Peter, and two sisters, Mrs. Betty Andel and Mrs. Ann Kricger.
- SECOND LT. PAUL D. SCHEELE, 22. of Elgin is reported missing in action since March 16 in Germany. He was a graduate of Elgin High school. His parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur R. Scheele, live at 440 Prairie st in Elgin.
- CAPT. JOHN W BONE, pilot of a E-17 bomber, was killed In at '.on over Germany on Jan. 14. He previously was reported missing. Catt, Eone was awarded the Purple Heart for a previous action. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Bore of 246 Washington, blvd., Oak Park.

- T T. WINFIELD J. HELD, army 1 -'air forces pilot was killed in a Farragut High school. His mother, Mrs. Ethel Held, lives at 2640 S. Kedvale av. Three sisters and a brother also survive. Memorial services will be held at 3 p. m. Sunday in St Andrew's Evangelical church.
- PVT. DONALD A. JAMIESON, 32, is a prisoner in Germany, his wife, of 205 S. Lafiin st learned yesterday. He previously was reported missing. He was a graduate of Calumet High school.
