English: The Extremely Large Telescope (ELT) will contain a total of five mirrors, the smallest of them being M5 — seen in this image. Despite being the smallest mirror in the ELT, measuring 2.7 by 2.2 metres, it will be the largest tip-tilt mirror in the world.
