...a grant application to the US Economic Development Administration seeking funds to complete this South Boston waterfront project intended to benefit the New England fishing industry; contains letters of support for the project and many documents and statistics relating to the fishing industry and the need for this aid, reasons for and the effects of the 200 mile fishing limit, etc.; includes the MA Port Authority's non-discrimination, equal opportunity and affirmative action policy; also includes a 1977 report prepared for the MA Legislature by the MA Port Authority titled THE FISHING INDUSTRY IN MASSACHUSETTS, another copy of which is kept on M3/PO/77.3; a copy of this item was in the BRA collection..
